Smeltech Carbons, an ISO 9001:2008Company located in Eastern India, started commercial production of Silicon Carbide Crucibles in May 2000.
The promoters of the Company have been in the field of Graphite Mining since 1936. Our sister concern, "THE PATNA ESTATE SUPER GRAPHITE PRODUCTS" that has been manufacturing Clay Graphite products since 1978, is still a pioneer in manufacturing Clay Graphite Crucibles and Accessories.
Smeltech Carbons has been set up with a state of the art advanced technology for the manufacturing of high quality Silicon Carbide Crucibles. Our plant & machinery has been designed by some of the leading and highly reputed machinery manufacturers of the world.
Our management is amongst the most experienced in the industry and with the next generation bringing in the modern management skills and ideas, we do make a strong driving force for our companies.
This has enabled us to become one of the leading manufacturers of crucibles in India.
After having established a stronghold in the crucible market in India and overseas, the company has diversified in manufacturing of Special Refractories , Stands, Muffle Rings, Flanged Rings , Launders, Covers etc. and is gaining momentum in these markets as well.
